Monday-Sunday Oversees the gym facility during the hours set by the Board of Directors and provides excellent customer service to residents.
The fitness Attendant also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group.
He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it relates to this function.
This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.
(May include some or all of the following as applicable) Liaise with residents providing customer service, enforcing rules and demonstrating correct usage of equipment.
Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing Conduct hourly rounds of the gym facility and pools to monitor usage, cleanliness and tidiness.
Report complaints/issues to either the Fitness Director Send work orders Cleans gym facility Keep logs of equipment May assist with resident notifications Requirement to attend scheduled meetings.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities by the on-site Community Association Manager or Gym Manager.
Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:
Entry level position High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
One (1) to two (2) years of front desk or gym attendant experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy:
Intermediate command of computer hardware/software is required.
Language requirements:
English is required.
Multiple language fluency is desirable.
Travel and availability requirements:
Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on scheduling needs.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
Handle, grasp and lift objects.
Reach with hands and arms.
Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
Complete all required forms.
