Our mission as part of the Commercial Strategy group is to put our data assets to work and apply quantitative techniques to discover previously unknown insights about our customers.
We work directly with the major decision-makers who shape the Walt Disney World experience.
Through our insights, we help form and improve Disney offerings.
This is a unique role, in that it looks across a variety of functional areas and enables the discovery and translation of insights for recommended improvements to the overall Walt Disney World business.
A position like this puts you in the middle of the main commercial and customer experience decisions of the company - and is a great way to showcase your analytical skills! The Commercial Intelligence Analyst currently reports to the Commercial Intelligence Manager and is an individual contributor role.
Position Responsibilities While each day will be different, with rotating priorities, the main themes for this role include:
Commercial & Customer Experience Storyteller:
Discovering and translating insights to support customer experience, pricing, forecasting, planning, and marketing decisions.
Project Management:
Closely partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business analysis requirements on multiple high priority projects, assess data sources, and document data and process flows, while consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Data Expert:
Leveraging data to support customer experience decision-making.
You convert freeform ideas into structured solutions.
This includes closely partnering with analytics experts and data scientist to link the right data assets to the proper analytical techniques to support accurate reporting, data visualization, and analysis in front-end systems.
Data Visualizer & Coder:
Leveraging your knowledge of visualization techniques (via SQL and Tableau) to create compelling dashboards and intelligence tools to enable ease of interpretation of customer experience performance metrics.
This involves you coding the backend processes to quickly access needed data.
Some more specifics for the role include:
Work closely with Walt Disney World partner teams for advanced analytics support.
Fact-check the accuracy of reports, looking for ways to ensure that the analysis and recommended outcomes are structurally sound, backed-up with evidence and logic, and contain well-defined and documented assumptions.
Independently manage workload, providing updates on deliverables and value of work.
Basic Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in business or analytical-related roles Ability to draw inferences, quantify uncertainty and limitations of analysis Solution oriented, creative problem solver with high intellectual curiosity Time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple requests and communicate status to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated competency in data collection, design, data analysis, data quality control, database file management Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and craft concise recommendations Demonstrated relationship skills Familiarity of industry leading tools for business intelligence (e.
g.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
