You will continually deliver on RaceTrac's mission of making people's lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, focusing on cleanliness, leading talent, and driving success.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Friendly Establish an environment of prompt, efficient, and courteous service and effectively engage in conflict management Lead and direct positive and professional relationships with co-workers, guests, and vendors Communicate respectfully and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude Manage and mitigate any reported guest concerns on designated shifts with a sense of urgency and involve appropriate regional team members as needed Provide a courteous, frictionless, and elevated shopping experience for every guest Efficiently complete guest transactions at the cash register or self-checkout stations and suggest products that complement purchases Food Drive excellence in food service by executing processes, implementing goals to increase sales and margin, ensuring product quality, and utilizing training resources Ensure all food offers are available; ensure preparation areas and equipment are clean and properly maintained Clean Encourage and manage a high standard of store cleanliness Direct, monitor, and adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations Responsible for executing shift duties, maintaining overall presentation standards, and representing the RaceTrac brand Leading Talent Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values of Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork Display RaceTrac's Leadership Qualities through acting with a servant-leader mentality, prioritizing tasks appropriately, going the extra mile for guests and your team, listening, and communicating respectfully, and solving problems with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach Lead the coaching, training, and assessment of direct reports while adhering to operational standards Provide feedback and recommendations on employee performance and development to the General Manager Driving Success Work with the General Manager to direct the control of inventory and the distribution of materials, merchandise, and supplies Develop and maintain a relationship with vendors to ensure efficient and accurate deliveries Use company provided tools to coach, mentor and develop a high performing store team Work Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed (preferred) 3-5 years of prior food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience; retail management experience (preferred) 1
years management experience (preferred) Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environment (preferred) Food Service Experience (preferred) Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the store (required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required) Proven knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices (required) Takes initiative (required) Can lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job (required) Thursday-Friday:
