As an Entertainment Technical Resource Manager, you will provide resource and administrative support for Entertainment Technical projects and operations. In partnership with the Entertainment Technical team, you will play a key role in coordinating the movement and confirmation of equipment and props for Disney Cruise Line Entertainment and approved vendors, as well as assist in determining and coordinating the logistics of the content needed for the fleet in regards to Movie Premieres, Content for Crew TV, Films for Funnel Vision as well as the theaters and stateroom TVs.


What You Will Do
  • Partner with multiple areas at Disney Cruise Line to ensure all show documentation has been collected as needed.

  • Review all Show and End of Cruise reports to capture technical issues that are trending and activate the appropriate partners to resolve issues early.

  • Be responsible for SAP administration work and vendor coordination, contracting and NDA submissions.

  • Regular WBS reporting in SAP to monitor Shoreside expense spending.

  • Action on, track, and follow up with specific continuous improvement report in partnership with the Mgr Entertainment Technical Direction.

  • Assist in the acquisition or rental of additional entertainment equipment as needed for special events both locally, and abroad.

  • Connect with the distribution center for any entertainment questions, including coordinating the distribution and storage of any Entertainment Technical equipment purchased for special projects.

  • Complete all Walt Disney Theatre and Shipwide part submittals to AMOS for new show installs and special projects.

  • Review all entertainment purchase orders for accuracy and verify any needed AMOS updates have been completed.

  • Coordinating the logistics for Crew shoreside training including but not limited to hotels, transportation, and Shoreside Short Term Assignment requests

  • Assist in the coordination of CO2 and Special Effects logistics, as well as create and maintain new fiscal Pyro Calendars with port itinerary changes.

  • Track offload manifests of all media content.

  • Coordinate and monitor SAP Ordering, PO creation and timely payments

  • Partner with Shipboard and Shoreside leadership in maintaining the general safety management responsibilities of the Entertainment Technical department

  • Lead Entertainment Technical SVAM clearances and port loading logistics in partnership with Hotel and Security departments.


Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Entertainment Technical knowledge and experience of Entertainment Technician equipment and systems.

  • Experience in contract management and vendor coordination.

  • Working knowledge of Mac and PC systems, MS Office and video formatting.

  • Highly organized with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to share new insights and creative solutions.

  • Industry technical knowledge.

  • Limited travel.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent software strongly preferred.

  • Experience with AMOS or equivalent asset management database.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
