The Senior Financial Analyst p
rovides accounting, financial planning and reporting for the Disney Vacation Club Condominium Associations. This position performs general accounting activities including close responsibilities. The Senior Financial Analyst provides support for the development of the monthly forecast, the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly Condominium Business Reviews, and annual dues budgets by effectively consolidating multiple inputs from various data sources. The role conducts ad-hoc analyses to support operational decision making and improve current processes. The position will develop an understanding of the business and interact with key partners.

Developing the Annual Operating Plan, Business Reviews, and annual dues budgets Developing and maintaining the Condominium financial records on a calendar year basis including closings, preparing financial statements, balance sheet account reconciliations, and internal control processes Performing monthly cash and banking transactions including wire transfers, electronic fund payments, and bank account reconciliations Generating intercompany fund transactions between various entities Leading calendar year-end close processes Coordinating the annual audit of the Condominium financial statements Filing Federal and State income tax returns, estimated State income tax returns, and other tax compliance required by various states Leading forecasting, planning and reporting of real property taxes, including payments Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks involving accounting and financial analysis Preparing proactive, objective and solid financial analysis Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the business
Proven knowledge and understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated strong Excel skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and techniques
Demonstrated strong analytical and financial analysis skills

Additional Qualifications
Proven timeshare accounting or resort finance experience
Demonstrated proficiency with SAP, Khalix, PowerPoint, and Word
Minimum 3 years experience in accounting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
