This is an hourly plus commission professional sales position within the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) that actively prospects for sales leads. Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership/timeshare product.
Responsibilities
Be proactive as they interact with our guests in the Walt Disney World (WDW) theme parks and resorts. Provide general information about WDW. Responsible for transitioning into Disney Vacation Club product overviews to schedule time for a DVC sales presentation.
Requirements
Motivated by commission-based sales
Willingness to routinely approach guests you do not know
Proven record of success and achievement
Demonstrated history of initiative
Ability to work independently as well in a team environment
Ability to influence and persuade others to see your point of view
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to stay and stand at a workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to work in outdoor conditions with heat, humidity, cold and all types of weather
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Windows based systems
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a pro-active, face-to-face sales environment such as real estate, timeshare, health club membership, cable service, etc.
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Ability to make sales presentations
Knowledge and understanding of Walt Disney World standards and expectation
Demonstrated strong bilingual skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
