# Responsibilities
The HR Specialist supports HR leadership and the local clients in our HR service delivery model. They are the main point of contact for client related questions and business issues including but not limited to HR policies, processes, leaves of absence, corrective actions and staffing needs involving hiring approvals and position management. This role is expected to assess, prioritize and act on client requests as needed and communicate needs that require additional support to the appropriate source. (E.g. Employee Relations, Compensation, Organization Management, Casting, Employee Administrative Services).
Additionally, the HR Specialist provides project support for the HRBP in areas such as talent management, assessment deployment and talent forecasting.
Assists in advising/providing guidance to the assigned client leadership in the administration of Human Resources related policies and procedures:
Data collection for merit and promotion planning as well as rating calibration
Headcount planning / Hiring approval processes (including partnering with finance & workforce planning)
Position Management
Leaves of Absence and Separations
Compensation rate quote requests
Maintain accurate Org Charts for client areas
PDN administration/file management
Compliance training reporting & issue resolution
Administration of local recognition programs (as needed)
Establish strong cross-functional relationships with HR functional partners to assist clients
Proactively document, maintain, and organize area practices and protocols related to HR policy administration and standards
Stay current on changes to HR policies and processes, and communicate changes to appropriate audiences
Support Org and Cast effectiveness efforts / projects, e.g.:
Organization assessments, including data gathering and compilation
Project management support
Work session logistics
Talent Management documentation
May serve as an analyst or metrics champion for the HR team, providing data in the form of metrics, dashboards and analysis of the data.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing trends in workforce research and demographics, and help in developing appropriate plans to meet organization needs
# Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of / experienced in HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, learning & development, etc.)
Strong ability and experience in the resolution of complex issues
Possesses both critical thinking capability
Strong business orientation and acumen
Strong service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated at all levels, including executive level
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and escalate issues in a timely manner
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
High level of professionalism including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficient in Excel, MS Word, MS Power-point, and the Internet.
# Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local employment laws and compensation practices
Knowledge of HR systems, policies, and process including: HRIS systems and hiring processes
Experience with Visio
Project Management experience
# Required Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related discipline

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
