POSITION SUMMARY
The Ecommerce/Revenue Specialist will be responsible for meeting set revenue goals for all properties in the Legacy Vacation Club portfolio through maximization of rate, inventory, online distribution channels, and pricing strategies.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Assist the Rental Marketing team to optimize Room Revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies.
Manage and update current selling practices and product content in all available channels (PMS, Extranets, Websites, GDS etc).
Generate daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports by market segments including internet channels.
Maintain historical statistics for all distribution channels.
Consistent daily monitoring of all travel related websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price.
Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis to ensure proper rate positioning and product comparison.
Work closely with the Marketing/Revenue Director to help establish strategies to increase revenue of both room and other revenue generating avenues; participate in pricing decisions for transient, group and wholesale.
Maintain and update all promotions on Extranets, Website and internal reports. Maintain inventory, rates, and MLOS on the extranets. Enter rates in all extranets as rate changes are made.
Follow up and maintain relationships with third party market managers for all promotion activity, new amenities, incorrect information on a site; address and follow-up with any problems, issues, or concerns that might occur.
Assist in researching and creating special events calendars for correct pricing and placement.
Assist with all aspects of group bookings including soliciting for new business, answering phone calls, and/or email requests, establishing and maintaining relationships with group leaders.
Correspond and communicate with all property departments and group leaders regarding group details.
Provide training and communicate details regarding group bookings, wholesale bookings and OTA bookings when needed and deemed necessary to resort and/or owner services staff.
Maintain and keep abreast all commissions that are due to our commissionable travel partners by monitoring sites, and producing check requests for accounting.
Provide support to Manager/Supervisor in all aspects of rentals duties and expectations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: BA/BS Degree in Hotel Management, Marketing or Communications preferred.
Experience: Two or more years or hotel revenue/sales related experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to use PMS, GDS and other revenue management tools.
