Summary:
We are seeking innovative, energetic nurse leaders for this ambulatory care nursing management role in the following Community Based Outpatient Clinic locations:
Deltona/Tavares and Kissimmee/Clermont. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) functions as a supervisor and assumes accountability for the operation of the assigned department. This includes the management, supervision and evaluation of care delivered by nursing and other allied health care staff. As a registered nurse, the ANM demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise, leadership, and creative approaches to management of complex care. The Assistant Nurse Manager is also responsible for contributing to the establishment and implementation of evidenced-based nursing standards of practice. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, he/she creates a positive work environment which enhances care delivery and professional development of clinically competent staff. This RN is a nurse supervisor and provides oversight for the administration of leave, counseling and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. The ANM serves as Acting Nurse Manager in the absence of the Nurse Manager but could also be pulled into providing direct patient care in the clinic as needed.The Assistant Nurse Manager will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the respective clinic. Work Schedule:
Shift, weekend and holiday rotation may be required. Normal tour of duty is 8:
00am-4:
30pm, but there may be irregular tours with rotation to other shifts as patient care needs require. This is a temporary position, not to exceed one year Position Requirements/
Qualifications:
Graduate from an Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)-accredited program and possess current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Minimum of five (5) years of recent RN experience in Primary Care/PACT setting preferred; Minimum of two (2) years progressive leadership experience to include preceptor, mentor, charge nurse duties, and Assistant Nurse Manager and/or Acting Assistant Nurse Manager role required; Demonstrates sound judgment, interpersonal, problem - solving and strong decision-making skills; Ability to function independently and to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary, core, and expanded teams; Demonstrated dependability for duty and flexibility in work assignments and shift hours in previous assignments. Preferred
Experience:
Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Nursing strongly preferred; National Certification in Ambulatory Care (RN-BC), Care Coordination, or in a relevant area of practice, and Lean Six Sigma training preferred. Grade Determinations:
The following criteria must be met in determining the grade assignment of candidates, and if appropriate, the level within a grade:
Nurse I Level I - An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Nurse I Level II - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 1 year of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a bachelor's degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience; OR a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse I Level III - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a BSN with approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or related field with a BSN and no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse II - A BSN with approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing or related field with a BSN and approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Doctoral degree in nursing or meets basic requirements for appointment and has doctoral degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Nurse III - Master's degree in nursing or related field with BSN and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Doctoral degree and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
